the german mail order company Louis (www.louis.de) has some mini istruments of the "MMB" company (also german), which are 48 mm in diameter and 50 mm high.
They are available in two flavours: One for 2...4 cylinders (electronic or transistor ignition) and one for singles (CDI ignition).
You have the choice between a black, white or yellow face. The price is 139 DM (tacho) + 19.90 DM (holder and light cable) + x DM (shipping to US).
Yes, they will ship them to any country, but you have to pay the shipping, whatever it may be... (no idea, sorry).
The MMB company has a hotline, too (Tel: xx49-3774-120833, Fax: xx49-3774-120832), I'll call them tomorrow whether they know if their tacho fits to our Savage.
